Discussion on the engagement journey of youth across Canada.
At this event by Tamarack Institute, I had the privilege of being to key speaker and facilitating a thought-provoking panel discussion, delving into the heart of community-led impact and its profound importance. Together with the panelists, we explored the essence of collaboration and relationship-building, emphasizing the power of shared values and the urgency of addressing pressing issues.
We also embarked on a journey towards decolonization, reconciliation, anti-racism, equity, and justice, unraveling the transformative potential within these themes. Furthermore, we delved into the essence of working alongside youth, emphasizing the need to listen, engage, and create opportunities for youth to shape their own school-to-career journeys. It was a truly inspiring experience, as we called for action, emphasizing the importance of starting with 'why' and fostering a culture of change that empowers both present and future generations.
Following the panel discussion, I led an engaging collage activity that encouraged participants to visually express their insights and visions for community-led impact. This hands-on experience allowed attendees to creatively explore and articulate their thoughts, fostering a deeper connection to the event's themes and a shared commitment to positive change.
